Pop-ups 6.30.09
We've been working on an altered book project with friends. This is a round robin project where we swap books once a month and work in someone elses book -- each has a unique theme so we're constantly trying to come up with pages that will work well.
I've been interested in pop-ups for a long time and finally took the plunge in a book on Appalachia. It really made me look at the page and structure in a new way.
If you're interested in pop-ups and/or altered book groups there are tons of resources online. I believe we could all stand to play a little more -- it refreshed the mind and reinvigorates creativity.
